where is the engine number on T2 engine ????

where is the engine number on T2 engine ????

hi all. transferring my T2 into my name, cant find the engine number. does anyone know where the f...k it is stamped on the motor ?!? thanx, regards Branx

It's on the rear crankcase flange where the gearbox bolts on, by the starter motor.

Big Elbow, thanks for clearing that up. On my T11 the blanks on your diagram are;
Centre of firewall (the 7 oclock arrow) Model No E-AA printed on a plate, vin no stamped on.
Above sensor box (the 8 oclock arrow) Vin No stamped on bodywork.
Under Bonnet (9 oclock arrow) mine has vacuum diagram but at lower centre of bonnet is tuning data eg timing, CO levels etc
If you fill those spots can a Mod put it into the info-base.
