ER Turbo pistons and rings set

Postby DR86 » Tue Jul 11, 2006 1:36 pm

Has any one ever come across this?

http://wellfar.en.alibaba.com/product/5 ... stons.html

Looks interesting. Can anyone dig up anymore on it. I'm sure many of us City maniacs will be biting for some. Or not.

I emailed them and got the reply:

Dear Mr Tra,
Have a good day! Thank you for your email to wellfar company.
Thanks for your interest of our piston rings. I am sorry that for 01-01990-00 Honda City- Turbo 66mm piston rings we have not produced yet. But if you can supply us the sample, we can produce for you.
Looking forward to your reply soon. If there is any query, please feel free to contact me.
Thanks and best wishes
Moore

Mine have just been replaced with Suzuki rings, minimal work required on the ring grooves (the oil ring fits) and they are suitable for turbo engines. ProT rings are made from chrome moly steel and not suitable for use with turbos

Henry,

you wouldn't have the part no. for those rings would you? Sounds great. My city is dead and gathering rust in a paddock as we speak. Been there for over 12 months now

Don't crucify me...

Dont bother with that wellfare company they never have anything they list on there site!

I looked into those ring sets some time ago and had the same result!

They also dont seem to have the t2 piston sets,or the head gaskets they advertise!??............And they dont apair to have any of the same for mercedes vehicals either!! (which they also openly advertise)

So a manufacturing company that dosnt seem to manufacture anything?

VERY STRANGE ?

Cheers
