Hopefully it will be drowned out by the sound of fast things being built in the garage 8)

All done, to tell you thr truth all I had to do was copy and paste, I had forgotten Mike had already written the whole thing :D

Our turbo project might find a home in the garage when we are fixing the holes in the block too I guess :p

you forgot the three most important steps when doing all that in the tute though.

no particular order:

A) When removing the dashcluster cover, the correct procedure will see you ensure you've snapped off one of the clips. Leaving the snapped clip rattling around under the dash will further increase the "DIY" satisfaction after a completed job well done.

B) When placing back the dash cluster its of the utmost importance to drop at least one of the threaded bolts down into the dash, you'll be glad you spent the extra 15 minutes looking for it (...and your City and you will have a kind of intimacy only being elbows deep can allow (read into that what you will).

C) Also, refitting of dash cluster will provide more satisfaction if your anglo, man sized hands cannot reach around the back sufficiently to clip back the speedo cable. Blood from grazed knuckles will aid its progress.

It's funny cause all those things actually did happen to me, on more than one occasion now.
I don't have any screws holding the cluster or cover in place any more cause I got sick of dropping them. It also makes it lots faster if you need to take stuff apart.
