chances of winning?

hey guys and girls

My mate is buying a standard auto mitsi libero and has challenged me to a race!

standard, liberos make 158kw at the engine and weigh near 1300kg (quite light for a wagon).

my T1 has done 126.000km, has a recently recond turbo running 14psi, 2.5inch exhaust, sponge pod filter, BOV and weighs in at the cheeky standard weight

what are the chances of coming out of this with a victory?

You could definitely out-launch the Libero as my T1 has wasted an R32 manual GTST up to about 60kmh. Over that speed the Libero will probably win considering it has over double the power of a T1. City turbos are still cooler than Liberos though!

You got an intercooler? Would be a good idea for you to get one. Pretty cheap and decent power boost.

But yeahit has 4wd power losses (is it a 4wd one?) so it probably is only going to make around 150 atw which is probably only like 20-30 more than you should be makign at the engine. So it should be a fairly good competition.

You dont need to go to big with our city engines to be pretty effective.

that is almost exactly the same as the one currently fitted to my car and in my opinion it works great after a good thrash the piping after the cooler is cool if not cold to the touch.
and thats a bargain compared to what i payed
