Help with Mugen T2R info and pictures?

Postby ProT » Sun May 13, 2007 6:49 pm

OK folks, now we have the opportunity to purchase these body kits at such a reasonable price I would like additional information on these cars and as many photo's and magazine articles we can get our hands on.

I'm sure there are people on this forum who know or can find out the following please.

What years did this one make series start and end in Japan?
How many cars were there running in the series?
Who was the Australian entrepreneur who purchased these ex-race cars hoping to continue the series in Australia?

I have the basic details about what was done to the cars mechanically from the City of Life website.

http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?hl=en ... uage_tools

And have started taking copies of any related photo's from that site.

But I would like more photo's or magazine articles. I don't care what language they are in, I'll get them translated if needed.

Why do I want this I hear you ask?

Well, it's to support a submission to the Historic Sports & Racing Car Association http://www.hsrca.org.au/ to have these racing replicas accepted in to historic racing.

If you have links to any sites that will support this application, please post them up here.

PM me if you have photos or attachments and I will give you a suitable email address to send them to.

Your help is much appreciated.

ok bro, i'll hook you up HOW-TO style.

To copy a DVD that plays in real dvd players:

1. http://www.dvddecrypter.org.uk/ << download DVD Decrypter.

Put original in dvd drive.
Start program.
Choose Mode -> ISO -> Read, then select filename to store on your computer.
Decrypt

Once finished;
Choose Mode -> ISO -> Write, then select the filename you stored.
Insert blank dvd
Write DVD

If you have stuff on vcr, thats different, most probably will need a little rca/usb adapter from shops, which will come with software for the capture. Then use something like nero vision express to create. (again i can hook you up).

I'll be waiting for the first copy bro ;)

Thanks for that Charles, I have added it to the infobase.

You didn't manage to find that Mugen T2 ROM did you? How are you liking life in the land of the long white cloud anyhow?

Fantastic Charles!

Do you have a scanner, can you email me a copy of the homologation papers?

Just in case you missed my other post Charles.
