Looks good mate, I am currently fixing similar rust in the front corner of my windscreen :(

Yeah i've just done it on my new one, was lucky to catch it in time, my old T2 was history because of the amount of rust it had around the top of the firewall.

Hay nice work gingernuts 8), I'm planing on doing this on my new T2 (1day).

Yeah i've just done it on my new one, was lucky to catch it in time, my old T2 was history because of the amount of rust it had around the top of the firewall.
on the topic of rust i just got a quote for rust repairs on my cab & they want $1500 for all the rust on the car *Ouch* :o

Yeah I've just been quoted $1350 to fix all my rust up, not the best timing for me but it'll be good to have it done.

So once you have removed the rust will you be using anything like POR-15 or KBS Rust Seal before you paint?

The rear wheels look mighty small back there, and sunken in.

Some serious spacers or special wheels will be in order ;)

dont want to spill the beans but he has wheels sorted i believe they are just steelies on there so the good rims dont get messed up.

yeah not the same style but theres some nice looking offset involved i do believe.
my project update...tomorow i pour the concrete slab for my new garage that i excavated under the house so the city gets stripped shortly after,i bought a mig welder off ebay the other night.and ime kinda getting all interested again about doing the rebuild.

Sounds wicked man, you should get onto it so I can come over for a drive! Start practicing with that mig as soon as you've got it, panel steel is a bit of a pain to weld :)
