Bee a while since I updated this.
Have been making a little progress but have been held up waiting for my mate to tig up the dump pipe for me.its finally done.Image
Other things done
New fuel pump fitted
Exhaust finished
Fuse box mounted
Have decided to remake the piping from the turbo to the intercooler to keep it well away from the dump pipe, but this requires more tig from my mate so could be a while.
I fitted up the cv shafts yesterday only to discover that they bind in the hubs when done up tight so I will have to pull the apart again and machine some meat off them.

Machined down the outer cv's and made up a little ring/washer to space them out.

Also wrapped the manifold and dump pipe in heat shield stuff.

Hey awesome job man, its good to see someone out there taking the city to a different level, funny how you used a D16 as I wanted to do that same conversion quite a while ago but wanted to keep it N/A. A B18c was the original plan but they are to wide for the chassis so a D series was the next best thing, i'm glad you have done it first as at least your build has given me the heads up on whats needed to be done to fit it. All the best man & have fun eating those Evo's & Subie's as you will no doubt have the fastest city out!

Damn that's no good, you put fuel in it aye....Lol. Can't wait to see it doing a dyno run on a YouTube video or something like that.

I got mine started, but with just the manifold on and no exhaust, sounded like an outboard boat motor out of the water

Still a long way off from where you are, still no cv joint for the drivers side, unless you can help 8) that's pretty much all I need to do then I can finish dressing in the harness and other bits and bobs. I just bought a house so the ole city is looking pretty sad under the house now, just need that motorvation again. I've got nothing left...

Yeah it has fuel that's part of the problem.
The injectors aren't pulsing they are wide open spraying
We think The guy that owned the engine before me had done a crank angle bypass on the civic loom to run the motor in his car.somwhere along the line this has gone missing or just isn't working as far as we can tell.i will openly admit I am beyond my depth here so it may be time to take it to a professional to have them sort it out.

The car is running sounds super angry!
It turned out that the ecu was knackered and probably had been for quite some time :(
I ended up buying a new secondhand one and hondata s300
So now all I need do is sort out a small oil leak from the turbo feed line and see why the front wheel bearings won't tighten up properly then it can go on a Dyno for a tune.

And how did you get your sway bar on? Custom or did it just fit up again?

The brakes are from an accord as are the inner bits of the hubs so I can run the bigger driveshafts from the civic which required me using bearings for the accord pressed into the city knuckle something is not right as they have both come loose.
As far as the sway bar goes I had to cut a chunk out of the gearbox housing to make it fit.i tried heating and bending one and buggered it up big time to I just hacked a chunk out of the gear box instead.
Have been too busy to work on the car of late :(
