I'm wiring up a digital boost gauge and have jumped the ACC power off the dash. But every time I switch the lights off, it decreases the reading by 4. I assume this has something to do with the dash dimming when the lights are turned i.e less power and therefore a lower reading.
I've been struggling to find another ACC wire in the car and a bit confused why there are two black and yellow wires coming off the ignition barrel.
Do you think by jumping off either black and yellow wires, it will fix the inaccurate reading when lights are turned on?
