City Turbo In A Movie

Postby classichondasrule » Mon Apr 28, 2008 12:29 am

Has anyone ever seen a City Turbo in a movie? Well i just did,, A Jet Li movie called MELTDOWN, AKA HIGH RISK. it's awsome theres actually two but you only see the first for a split second and only a small portion of it ,but later there's a scene when Jet Li and a cop go and check out a hotel and they go there in a Turbo, then a shootout starts and Li goes and jumps in the Turbo drives it into the lobby and has a shootout takes the City in the lift and continues the shootout higher up in the hotel, totally flippin awsome, except that the city gets wasted, does anyone know of a City Turbo in another movie? i watch a lot of movies and always look out for classic hondas but had never seen a City Turbo until now, WOW you gotta see it !!!!!!!

wehey! nice spelling mistake Bigelboe, lol. yeah Pulp Fiction or Fuction lol (that's really good) is the film that made me go out and buy my first honda, it was a mk2 Civic and I havn't looked back since i look out for mk1s and mk2 Civics my favourite mk1 movies have to be Police Story and Police Academy, all Tarantino movies except for Death Proof but i havn't inspected it properly yet but there is a mk3 Civic in it.

oh man, City Racer, I kind of thought that it may have been 2 cars, but i was still watching it for enjoyment seeing the city than inspecting, but i will for sure now. oh and i'm gonna get Karate Kid ASAP to check for that City, nice one.

Mike_NZ check it out and let us know what you think.

OK I've got some screenshots from the movie. Just of the scene in the hotel, you don't get a very good look at them earlier. One T1 and one T2, and it changes between them throughout the scene.

At this point I stopped capturing in full screen because I needed easier access to speed controls etc...

The car changes from a T2 to T1, but without the "power bulge" on the bonnet

Then back to a T2

This is where is starts getting really upsetting...

Sweet seats!

A spectacular end, falling out of the building and exploding on a police car.

I know that's a lot of pictures, but in total they only take up 1.2MB.
Hope you enjoyed.
If people really want I could get a video of that scene and put it up.

Did the T1 come out without the bolt on bulge in the bonnet? Cause it looks like there is just a T2 and an NA city...

Mnn thats interesting. Someone has obviously cared enough about that T2 at some stage to put fishnet recaros in it, a good period upgrade.
