im planning to get one done for my city, has anyone has experience about the alarm + central locking? there is this guy on trademe whos willing to do alarm + central locking system on both doors for 170 bucks.
good deal? or do a diy central locking?

I thought I wld ask before I make a move =) thanks guys =)

Yeah I did mine, also ran a line so the boot's hooked up to the central locking. I'm assuming that the $170 just covers labour and you'll have to supply the alarm and central locking system.

I reckon that's a pretty good price for installing all that, it'll probably take a few hours.

It's not that hard you could do it yourself, it will probably take quite a while though.

helped my mate put in central locking in his 4x4 a few months back was super easy.
i plan on fitting centeral locking and solex locks to the city after the rebuild dont know if i can be bothered doing an alarm ile probly just do an imobiliser switch that i can flick when the car is parked somewhere sketchy.
