Thinking about replacing all the bearings in the block, rod, main, thrust.
I am a noob to such things though, but from this thread:

Someone stated the non turbo city bearings are the same as the turbo/T2?
is this the case?
what about difference clearance size etc?
Are the torque specs the same for caps etc?
ACL bearings turbo same as non turbo?

There are differen't bearing shell thicknesses for getting your clearences bang on - from Honda.
Aftermarket from ACL there is generally just Standard, and slightly oversize if at all. If you want to get factory life out of the motor then use Honda ones, otherwise ACL are generally fine, but check your clearences all the same.

so do all city engines have the same bearing sizes from factory? So in theory there is only one sized set i can buy from ACL?
i had a look at the acl online catalogue.. i think i have found it all (bold).. any idea on what the 'rear main bearing seal set' would be [crank seal on the box side??]? Any other thoughts from anyone?

Bearings, seals & all that
From when we did the rebuild on our engine you will need those you show in bold plus front & rear oil seals, oil pan set, plus, presumably you have taken the head off the block, so you will need all the valve stem seals as well as head gasket set and, if you have a CVCC engine in your car (as I'd expect) you will need the CVCC valve stem seals. Not a common item ...
Worth remembering that the ACL set are generally for non turbo (ie 2 valve per cylinder, not 3)
