T2 FIRST DRIVE

Morning,

Last night was the first drive of my T2 since I bought it & got it into a driveable state. Seems to all run perfectly. I noticed a Electrical kinda whirring noise during the whole drive ( around the block ) almost sounded like it was an electric-engined car actually..I think it's either the fuel pump running or maybe the turbo? All very interesting. this noise would change as the engine speed increased/decreased & seemed to come from the left hand side of the car.

Question, As far as having a City lowered goes, is it as 'simple' as going to say Pedders & having new springs fitted, or is the City in it's own little world & require specialized hard-to-find custom shorter springs etc...? Lowered & a cat-back exhaust are high on my mod list...
