gingernuts and i purchased them there was a few hundred dollars of machine shop work involved in fitting them and it was worth every freaking cent almost doubled my corner speed even with old tired suspension.
cant wait to see how it goes with my bigelboe coilovers and 215 toyo proxis tyres!
i believe that we got the last two(dont quote me on that)but ime pretty sure they were sitting around on their shelves for years and they had a bit of a cleanup and flogged them off might be worth a try to get your hands on one from memory the part was $800 or so(half normal price) and three hundred or so for the re drilling and welding of the big ring gear thingy.
cheers matt

If Quaife suggest 2 x QDF3U would make it cheaper, let me know.

Currently listed as £585.00 (Unit price exc. VAT) + shipping
http://www.quaife.co.uk/Honda-Civic-Cit ... fferential

That is about A$1200 + shipping at the current exchange rate.

There is one other Diff on there that had the right general dimensions as well, I think it was one of the Civic/CR-X ones.

i would think both Civic and CRX diffs would be the same they use the same motor,

any LSD that fits EW motored gearbox ie 84 - 87 civic and crx with the SOHC 1500 not the DOHC will fit its GW box code.

not sure about anything else would guess that GA city and D series would be close, best thing to do in that case would probably be to take a T2 gearbox apart and take the diff head with you so they can compare it and find the best fit.

You won't find one that drops in, I can't remember how much work the CR-X one needed, definately wasn't less but it might have been similar. Use the pictures in my original thread and the drawings off the quaife website to compare.

Had a look at the quaife website and the Civic/City one is still listed. I suggest you get in contact with them craybait and you can find out if they are in stock and how much they weigh. They may also have to manufacture itso you will want to give them warning.

Quaife diff

Postby craybait » Wed Jul 15, 2009 11:39 am

Picked one up in England, the only small hitch was they forgot the form to get the vat back,so watch out.[the extra 15% hurt]
I hope to find a spare T2 gearbox to fit it up,so I will put it in my T2 towards december when I will do an engine freshen on the T2.
Any instructions on the machining to fit would be appreciated and any leads on a T2 box in Perth would appreciated
