my new wasted city turbo II
man, i bought the car yesterday for 750 ( with front mount intercooler and BOV).
knowing the clutch need replacing, i still went with it and bought it.
today i took the car to the mech. shop, finding out there r lot more need to be done....... here we go the list
wheel bearing
clutch---got some heavy duty clutch next week)
CV
Cat convertor
rear struts
rear tyres
sub frame falling off
gearbox isnt bolted up in place
outside door handle is broken (waiting for the shop to call back)
the speedo isnt working (cable not in place according to the seller)
do u guy think i should go with it, and fix it?

awww was that from a guy named Ruben here in Perth? I was going to grab that as a parts-car
Where are you getting the clutch done btw?
Depends on how much u want a city turbo. Rare as here...mine's cost me $2000 so far and is going in for work Thursday...prepared to spend whatever it takes over time though myself..

i cant believe i missed seeing this car for sale probably just as well i don’t have the space for another one lol.
as for the parts u need the cat sounds like "bs" cars made before 1986 (i think it is) can legally not have cats so instead of paying for a new one take your money to an exhort shop and get a 3" pipe put in where it go's & get a bit more HP's . and as for the sub frame & gearbox bolts it just sounds like someone’s dropped the engine out recently & didn’t put it back together properly. the rear struts are going to be hard to find good ones have a chat to James about them. i don’t know how many CV's iv got left but CV's are interchangeable between all city’s so it shouldn’t be to hard to find new ones.
BTW: guy's we need a perth city city day

as for the CV, i am not sure if it is interchanble with city, but i know wheel bearing isnt, cos the shop can not find one for me at all. the turbo 2 is different to city, cos it is stronger for the extra hp.
Parts interchangeability

* CV's / axels etc are all the same between N/A, T1, T2
