Honda City TII destroyed/trashed in Roslyn

Postby spangleking » Tue Apr 19, 2011 9:24 am

The same vehicle that had its wheels stolen last year was again attacked with some vehemence last night in Roslyn at 3.40AM tuesday 19/04/11.
Hardly a panel was not kicked in. It seems to be a start of the rugby season trend.
Other Honda Citys in Dunedn are suffering from pushed in doors.
Both door windows smashed and the bonnet catch lifted.
Over $2,000 in panel damage and glass.
No insurance.
One offender was seen fleeing the scene.

Shit that must really suck. I keep mine parked down next to the house under a car cover for the very reason that its not safe to keep it parked on the road now days.

Did the leave any evidence, must be finger prints if they got the bonnet up.

Yes... but $3,000 panel and paint and not insured

Its driveable but drivers door wont open fully until I panel beat the rh guard.
Shame it was the onlt straight one with a sun roof I have ever seen.
Frustratd theif apparently as they tried to start it with a bad key.

Damn that's nasty, So unfair that people have to do this to tidy classics,

I have a pair of reasonably straight guards, a drivers door, bonnet and possibly a rust free hatch as spares around I can sell cheap if that helps getting this thing tidied up.

But You seriously need to move somewhere with a lockable garage before tidying it up.
