I've never been able to find a checksum of any kind, and I have definitely had a car running on a burnt EPROM with a modified boost cut so that kind of lends weight to the fact it doesn't have one?

Found some interesting information over on PGMFI.org. Someone found a factory chipped EW ecu, which is the same hardware as the Turbo 2. They have posted bins up, this could really help us identify maps, and apparently it has a fuel cut rev limit in there too which would be a nice addition to the City Turbo ECU.

You will probably have to sign up to view it.

The odd even twin chips are interesting, Its almost the same as what Nissan does.

Going to have to try find some time to go over this.

Yeah I wondered if it was because you couldn't get programmable 128 chips when they developed it? Seems a bit strange tho.

Had a bit of a look - they are high and low chips. Looks like the high one only has maps on it, and the low one has the code, heaps of empty space, way more than the T2 bin.

The first few lines of code look pretty similar.

Also on the Moates site it said that using the shortest cable possible for the ostrich can help with voltage issues
