how do you get rid of the beeping!?!?

how do you get rid of the beeping!?!?

I have an '84 T2 that start beeping (loud and high pitched) after hitting 60 kph. Does anyone know how to get rid of it?

I know they are meant to make a beeping at 100kph and that can be removed by taking the dash out and cutting the little speaker at the top rear of it.

SN preludes have the same thing and I had to disconnect mine due to the passengers always bickering.
