Replacement Engine

Postby Kiwee » Sun May 27, 2012 2:51 pm

Hi

Acquired a Honda City yesterday, fun to drive and will be using it to go to and from work, rather than the Honda Legend I have which is very thirsty ! Only thing with my City is that what I thought was just out of adjustment valve clearances (and after reading lots on here today) would seem that it may just in fact be worn cam & rockers, as no adjustment that I have made today has made much difference. Is this a common fault with these cars as they get older ?

Also, could someone tell me if an engine/gearbox from a 1984 City will fit straight into my 1988 City ?

Thanks
Mike

Replacement Engines has the best technology when it comes to engine assemblies. Aside from that, its cylinder block has undergone magnafluxing in order to prevent cracks.
