Who has got a low city??

Postby paddymarsh » Thu Sep 27, 2012 6:25 pm

Just wondering who has got a lowered city? How low? How did you do it? Got any pics? I am just researching. I either want to go to less than 100mm or just leave it stock.

Cheers

There are lowering springs on Yahoo Japan otherwise you are doing something custom.

Lowing springs wont get it under 100mm, wont even get it close to that unless you have 4 people in the car.

pre-sure james was developing some coils, otherwise somebody else had a few sets of coilovers I think.

I would definitely be keen to buy some coilovers if anyone has a set lying around

Depends how much you want to spend as to what you can do.

This is a good guide to doing a decent job on the cheap:

Its not Honda-specific, so you will have to find some different inserts that work.

I don't really think that makes good adjustable ones... It gives you an option to get more lows, yes... but in doing that, you would ruin your spring pre-load. Amirite?

You get shorter shocks so you can go lower and keeps your springs captive. Spring pre-load isn't very important. You can safely run with zero pre-load.
