Indicator lights/hi-beam end cap removal

Anyone taken their Indicator stalk apart before? Headlight switch on mine needs attention...doesn't seem to be any obvious removal for the endcap to get into it though...any advice? Talking about the part shown here...just wondering if it's a glued/molded-on part or it can be removed like the one in the pic...
