It looks like it is. I was recently told by a t2 owner he used eb civic front shocks & a keeper coil to lower his about 50mm. Ive asked for more info....no idea what a keeper coil is for example...

A keeper coil (usually called a helper spring) is a small soft spring installed in series with the main spring. At most times it runs fully compressed (they are usually made of flat or square wire). When the shock is unloaded (i.e. full droop or at least more droop than the short main spring can handle) the helper spring extends to keep the main spring in place. Basically it's there to stop the main spring falling out if it's too short to be captive.

i think the motocompo was in the boot when i took them photos plus the sub box etc so i think it was just a little heavy. Can you not buy lowering springs from japan direct? i am actually heading to japan in two weeks so if any one know of anything they mite want brought back ( if its small) or anything they would like me to check out let me know because i will be looking for bits and bobs while over there.

Repco won't know what City shocks are :p I recently contacted a local susp. specialist joint here, said he couldn't find anything in their files about what would suit, but I could just bring the car in & worst case they would custom make springs to do the job. I think in Jap they sell the ZOOM branded springs for the city's..there's plenty of threads on here about KYB struts & springs etc etc etc :p I reckon all the Lowered-looking City's I've ever spotted in Perth must just have worn out suspension :p

Here we go - http://www.goobike.com/cgi-bin/fsearch/ ... me=gb_bike

This site is annoying as in there's a ' English ' version, but if you use it motocompos don't show up. Anyways most of the bikes shown are being sold by actual bike shops, and their pics show the shop names in the background, such as here : http://www.goobike.com/cgi-bin/search/s ... 140704014+

Soooo if I was in Japan I'd be swinging on in & having a look :)

I'd also suss out posting one back in bits from there...I know post from there to Aus is $$$ but still be worth while.
