Digital speedo playing up

Hi my t1 digital speedo cuts in and out, working briefly if I get my hand up the fuse compartment and wriggle the plug for it. I've taken the speedo out several times, re-tensioned the plug and socket filliments for a stronger bond but that didn't help. I know of someone else having the same issue, and now the boost gauge sensor plug is doing the same thing. Anyone had the same issue? Dodgy solders in the dash maybe?

Digital boost gauge sensor is known for having a dodgy solder (95% of them crap out) so there's definitely a possibility there, though I haven't heard of it happening with the whole speedo before. Worth investigating though.

*Update
Have fixed all the dash issues, it was dodgy solders on the socket connections on the circuit boards, both on the speedo plug and boost sensor plug. Easy fix!
