Re: whos up in Brisbane?
Hi,
The service day will be at Qld Air cleaners, 33 Old Pacific Highway. If you're interested, please call our service co-ordinator, Leon Percy, on 0418 726 015. He's an experienced mechanic and has "played" with a couple of T's over the years. and does full aircon services for your cars too. The club (HCOAQ) does have a charge for the day, but that includes lunch and service assistance and advice (and the loan of some tools if required.)
Notice I had a funny spelling on legal on my previous post?
It'd be good if as many as possible dropped by, even if just to say hi!
Time is from 9.30 to 4.00pm.
Okay guys, now get back to your cars and get the boost up.

Re: whos up in Brisbane?
Im in Brisvegas too. I wrecked my T2 and put all the good gear in the civic that sould be on the road soon.
Bit of an ongoing development on a budget but so far got frontmount S5 I/C, BOV, ported manifold, oil catch can, 2.5inch exhust, shift light, VL pump, FCD as well as a few other things. Still not happy with the performance though and have plans of running a shitload of boost once I sort out problems with the wastegate.

Re: whos up in Brisbane?
I live at the gold coast and have a city with a turbo II engine in it. I am currently swapping the motor into a recently bought gen 1 civic. This will be my daily driver and should give a few V8's a scare when i'm finished with it. I also have a 2000 civic hatch that is a shell at the moment and is having a tube frame chassis built for it to accomodate a 20B rotor, 20" wheels etc etc.

Re: whos up in Brisbane?
yeah. Its gonna be a while before everything is finished but will be worth it. It is getting built for show purposes only as we currently travel around to the Auto Salon series, summernats etc etc. As soon as the chassis is finished I will put up some pics on our website. But for now the gen 1 is priority.

Re: whos up in Brisbane?
Hi Rob,
Yeah, great looking site! Thought the EK Civic kit looked really mean ;D
The 20B Civic should cause a bit of a stir! ;)
No doubt we'll see that in a magazine or three when it's done!! I'm sure Lang (12b) will be keen to follow your exploits with the current 1st gen Civic as she's previously owned one with the T2 powerplant.
So, how about some City bodykits then eh?
I'm sure we'd all be keen. :)
Great stuff, keep up the good work,
Pete
