My advise is to take tonys offer- you wont beat it once you consider the aus to nz dollar conversion. I had mine reconditioned in Brisbane by ignition supply company and it cost about $120 because both diagrams were perished (there is acually two in the canister). It is unlikely that the hilux unit will work as it is for a non turbo car as well as there being different specs to suit each motor. Personally if I had to do it again I would get one from NZ. Although the one I got works I dont know if it is to spec. as Perry at ignition supplies co knows nothing about turbos (but thinks he does) - a dangerous combination!

i can get them recond in nz for about 50-60 bucks, also the erratic idle CAN be caused by not having enough water to cover the temp sensors in the cooling system
