Intercooler Question???

Hey people,

I have a City T1 and am in the process of hooking up an intercooler.  I have sourced an intercooler of a Mitsubishi Starion Turbo.  Essentially it is the same design as the VR4 unit, appart from it is just a little bit smaller.

The question that i have is.......Does the inlet to the intercooler have to be up top (as this intercooler has one pipe up top and other down bottom of the other side) or can i go from the bottom to top.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i wouldn't think that it mattered as long as you can get access to the pipes, ihad to cut a hole in between my right head light and radiator to get access to my front mount
