I am in the process of purchasing a T2.

It has:

Recaro Race Seats with harnesses
Half Cage (rollcage starting from behind the front seats)
Ported and polished head
Mild Cam
Bigger Turbo (not sure what it is but it is the small one of the twin turbo subaru's )
Front Mounted 300 zx intercooler
Boost Controller
NOS (but the owner wants to keep that)  :'( >:( :'(
Many other extras

This car has only done 2000 k's since the rebuild and has previously run a 12.9 quarter mile (on NOS tho)

Price $2200 NZD

Well this car used to be used for hillclimbs down in wellington and the dude moved to auckland and never joined a car club so the car just sat in the back of his garage for a year then he got hasseled for rego and he got one and just decided that it wasnt worth keeping it.

Should be getting it within couple of days (depending when he takes his nitrous out) but when i get it I will come back to you with some pics of the rollcage and hopefully some of the NOS system too  ;D

Yes you are right.....it was in the T&E.

Unfortunately i wont be getting it as i test drove the car last night and was pretty happy with the performance (freakin fast for a city ) but that car used to be a race car, even tho it has only done 2000 odd k's since the rebuild means that 2000 k's it was thrashed hard with NOS.  Everything on that car has been tampered with to suit avgas (which means the spark plugs and leads would have taken a beating) and there is alot of things it would need doing on it before it could be road legal.

For me this would be too much of a mission as i am a student and have no time to muck around.

If anyone in NZ is interested in this car give me a yell and i will get the ph number.

i'd offer about 1200 maybe even less as no one else will probably buy it( cityturbo.com members excluded)cos its got no wof or reg so you can afford to make him sweat in fact get one of your mates to go and test drive it then offer like 600 bucks.. i bought a highly modified import hyper turbo for 100 bucks(plus a 13b oil cooler) it had been river hacked so the body was nafed but it was still fast.

I bought it in the end for $1000 NZD  8)

Just creamed a WRX with a front mount........EZY PEZY

Will probably fit new harnesses in mine, but keen to see pics of the cage etc.
So how did the NOS bargining go. Anything left and are you going to re-fit it?
Charles had some some words of wisdom on NOS so go easy if you do it!

The Harnesses are Thompsons Race products and they are in good condition just a little bit dirty (been sitting in his garage for a year).

I have 2 of them ...... willing to get rid of them for a cheap price.

If I get hasseled on the next WOF for the rollcage I will chop it out if you are interested (otherwise get it certified).

About the NOS

It was installed by some TURBO workshop in Wellington and was all done properly with an extra fuel injector and its own separate fuel cut out......dont know much about NOS but it looked like it was done properly.

The dude wanted $1200 for the whole kit (the bottle was full) so i told him to forget it.  He has still got it and he has no plans on putting it in any other car he just wants to sell it.

I dont know what NOS kits go for  but he has everything so if anyone is keen just ring him on the number that was given in one of the above posts.
