Re: wheels
HI there hazchem,
So why do you want to stick with heavy pressed steel rims? And only 13"? I've seen 17s on a Pro-T which did look a bit odd, but 14-15 is all good!! ;D
I'd watch out for some 2nd hand mag 14s if budget is a worry. So are you in NZ or Aus?
Cheers,
Pete

Re: wheels
My mate put standard 14inch lancer wheels on his city and gave it that cop wheel look. Basically most 4x100 wheels will fit - just try them and see.

Re: wheels
If you get 14s just bee carefull as to what profile tires you decide to go for as i was running 185/60/14 on my T1 with standard suspension and found that you could not any passengers as it would rub severely. I have tried rolling the guards myself but didnt have much luck and in the end i got sooo fed up with the car (cause i couldnt find any stiffer springs and shocks) that i just simply opted for a T2 and now i run those same mags and tires and have absolutely no problems.

Hi Pro-T,
Most wreakers will sell you tires fairly cheaply. I would suggest letting your fingers do the walking and ringing some of your local wreakers and asking them if they have any that will suit at a reasonable price. I got some tires that looked almost brand new for $25 each from a wreakers in Adelaide for my old car.
Good Luck
Cheers
