does anyone know if i can get a warrent with no back seats or seatbelts? will i have to re-register?

It will depend on what country you are in I think. As far as I know, in NZ you would have to reregister as a 2-seater. not sure about Oz...

Have passed a warrant in mine with no back seats. Had the belts tucked away, but said they did function if required. One person has tested them, but on another occassion they didn't worry. Seems to be fine over here, don't know about Aus or anywhere else!  ;D

I suppose you will only need to re-register if the car is no longer able to put the back seats in again, such as if you had put in a half cage....

It will probabyl depend on where you take it for a warrant, some guys will pass anything ;D

I Usually put my back seats in Just for warrant purposes.

Yeah and tuck the belts away when not in use.  ;D


Hmmm But re-registering is the alternative to that.

With the new laws comin up in NZ it will be 1 option, A car must be not overly Modified from standard. The other option is to get a low volume vehicle cert plate.    (L V V ) But they are both very costly. $400 for the cert, and i think round $300 to re-register.
