T1 T2 Springs

Just got my T1 parts car the other day and today fit the rear of it with my spare mags and noticed that there was a difference in ride hide between the vechiles.

Do the T1's come with lower springs or am I mistaken. The tyres were the same profile and the springs look like they are standard.

Also didn't realise that the standard 12' wheels fitted over the turbo front brakes.

I beleve the suspensions is the same, just the front control arms are custom for T2's slightly wider. And brakes slightly large on T2 suposedly anyway.

T1 standard wheels are 155/70/12
T2 185/60/13

so big difference there.

I would say that your t1 is older so the springs have sagged more than the t2 ones.
