Don't forget to pick up those two screens you have left on the floor before you get in with your dirty shoes.

I personally feel it would have looked much nicer if you had gone for a curved dash, more shaped like a factory one, rather than a hollow MDF box with some monitors chucked in, its not really keeping with a show car theme.

them screens are mounted on the floor at all times im not going to be driving it. I only have the door trims now whitch will have 8" subs some 6" speakers some 4" speakers and a 15" monitor

hope u guys liked them

the reason i went a flat dash as it will be a race car more than a show car

How is it a race car with all that crap in it? Can you remove it easily?

number 1. Its not crap
number 2. it can be removed if it can be removed eazely that means every one ealse can remove it eazely

number 3. with the hp i will have i will still be pulling 12s down the quater as all this stuff has been wayed it only ades 160kg on top of my car weighet that meanes 710+160=880 880kg with 200KW = fun

Different...

Shame about adding 160kg on the audio, will have a bad effect on the handling, but if your only wanting to go fast in a straight line wont be that important to you.

Good luck with the rest of the build.

Good luck with it all and everything but that thing won't run 12s.

710 + 30kg of extra wheels and tyres + 25kg of extra exhaust + 20kg for turbo and manifold + 10kg for extra paint and bodywork + 7kg for extra fuel lines and pump + 20kg worth of gas + 70kg for you + 160kg of stuff = 1052kg race weight.

Trust me it all adds up. My car is about 900kg with me in it (80) and a 1/3 tank of gas, and I have about 6kg worth of sound system. Mine was 720kg from factory.

In saying that it should still be reasonably quick, but you wont get effortless 12's. Your engine is going to be very peaky and will be quite tricky to get good times out of I imagine.

If you were serious about building a race car you could have slapped some sticky tyres on the front, wound the boost up to 15psi, stripped the inside out and run 12's that way, Ive seen a 1st gen civic that had something like a 480kg race weight... And that was before decent composite technology.

ur a smart man but wat u just said then made everybody on this fourm 5% dumber . Iweigh 60kg my wheels do not weigh 30kg not even half that. If ur exhaust wayed 25kg i would be taking it back as a exhaust should only be 15-20 and dont forget i have taken my back seat out and my spare tyre my seats aye 50% lighter and getting a civic to 480kg hahahahahaha yeah right

i did respect u on this fourm but ur starting to get cama / give shit to people u will be getting it right back

Yeah you tell him civic!

I'm sure that everyone will give you the respect you deserve when your civic rolls off easy 14 second passes at 130dB...

I'm sorry but when you come up with comments like " My cars designed as a race car even thought its got 160kg of audio equipment in it" Thats when people give shit to you, for making such absurd statements.
