Re: WTB City Turbo
Smithy, sounds like the wastegate might be stuck causing the boost cut, be worth getting that checked. Causes can be stuffed actuator or cracked housing, hasten slowly!! Henry

Hey Cheerfull, Think the specs for the Cab are on this site somewhere. I think the engines will be the same, certainly have no problems with the parts you are talking about. Henry

Re: WTB City Turbo
You can pay 2500 for a tidy Pro T. My T11 is fairly tidy, pics are in the pics section, when I compare it with Pro's and the odd Turbo that I have seen for sale I feel it is should bring about 5500. It seems to be very original, still has all original seat trim, no evidence of any accident damage o...

Re: model variants...
Best of my knowledge is City Pro T. only one Honda bought into Australia, 1984-1986. Carburetted, 2 seat. Was sold as a 4 seater in some other countries, some had after-market back seats fitted by owners. Turbo 1 Basically the same body as City Pro with Turbo motor, different badges, dash, and se...

Re: Wierd Noise
Loren, can't help with the noise but the tappet cover bolt torque is 0.8 - 1.2kg-m. You will find that these are stepped studs, eg have a shoulder that the washer comes down against so doing it up tighter won't push the cover down any further to seal against the gasket, which is different to the Cit...

Re: Converting a Pro to a Turbo
Probably easier and cheaper to just but a T1 or T11. I looked at it once, now drive a T11. Probably depends on whether you want to play in the shed or cruise!!Henry

Re: DIFF Ratios...
DR86 sounds like it's not breathing properly, if it was wear causing that sort of power loss you wouldn't see the thing for smoke!! Check your air filter for flow and the turbo outlet hoses and intercooler for leaks and the fuel pressure. A compression check will tell you how worn it is, should be 9...

Re: DIFF Ratios...
DR 86, you got part of the message, why do you need to go over 5500 anyway. Torque is what gives you the grunt, if it pulls like a train between 3000 & 5000rpm, manage your driving in that range, 5000 in second is about the open road limit, if you have spare engines to waste, send me one for saf...
