Any idea what shipping to NZ/AU would cost from the States. That there is a piece of history. I'm surprised someone in Japan hasn't shipped it back there yet.

was looking at that as I wouldn't mind a wee project. How much do you think it would cost to get someone to fix the rust... ballpark? I have no welding experience but i think this thing needs saving from the scrapheap.

From what i've read in the past, i think the Holden Rodeo turbo's are a pretty good fit and a slight upgrade. You can pick them up reasonably cheap from wreckers last time i was looking. Do some searches both here and google... it won't take too long to find the info you're after.

what model of boost controller is it? Also what model of Turbo timer?

Still looking for a city turbo in NZ. Prefer in auckland but happy to travel in Nth Island to pickup

In regards to your wheels, do you think that this is as big as you could go with that kit, both in size of the wheel (width and diameter) and offset?

check vacume hoses. Sounds like you're freeboosting, but mine used to cut at about 17psi not 20...
