Mine has a sort of intermittant, sometimes when you turn them on, they don't go!
But usually slow or less slow are the only speeds.

I would hope it's ceramic for that price, I only paid $120 for 4 wheels powdercoated!
Yep, powdercoating will melt right off an exhaust manifold way before it gets to max. temp.

I made an adjustable cam gear from a std city cam gear, piece of cake! I haven't tried it yet but if it works I will do some more and sell them hopefully.
Cost will be around $100.

WTB turbo II bonnet

I'm after a nice straight bonnet for a T2, not worried about paint condition or even a bit of rust, but don't want dents / buckles / bog etc, I already have plenty of those in the one I've got!

fast idle fixed?

yesterday my TII suddenly decided it was going to idle at 2500 rpm and make a really loud sucking noise, took me all day but I managed to track it down to the spacer under the throttle body- there are two tee pieces at the front of the spacer that have vac/boost lines attached, in the front of each ...

Hi, from memory one of the bolts that looks like it holds the plastic cover goes right through the waterpump as well, try taking the plastic cover off and the pump should come out.

The stock gauge takes the temp on the engine side of the thermostat, so doesnt change much, your gauge is on the radiator side by the sound of it, so will change with the thermostat opening and closing and the fan turning on and off. The temps you listed sound about right, my factory gauge NEVER get...

I've had a couple of welders from BOC, they're a bit more pricey but bloody good machines- I'm using one to do rust repairs on my T2 at the moment, you want a mig about 100-150 amps running 0.8 mm wire, and an argon/co2 mix gas.
