engineering and what not

with all the new rules about not being able to put 13b's into r1's and sr20's into Dattos are u still allowed to drop a t1 or a t2 into a first gen civic?. i ask cos i used to own a first gen with a t2 in it and ht ebug has bitten me again and i want another one now they arent easy to buy so im thin...

only smoke i get is the normal turbo smoke out the back under full laod off the start besides that no smoke. yeah running a little pod isnt really a harsh noise just a high pitch whine prob jsut spooling booking it into to get a good service this week so willg et them to ahve a looky at the turbo also

turbo noise

hey all. when im driving under half load i guess is the best way to put it my turbo is letting off a high pitched squeal well mroe a whine but kinda a squeal sounds like im running a supercharger. is this normal or have i got a leak somewhere or something as im onyl a newb when ti comes to turbo mot...

Cat Converter Temp control

ok i bought a gen1 civic with the t2 motor in it the other week and the dude i bought it off told me he installed a catalayic converter temperature control. and explained what it did but i cant remember does anyone on ehar know why its their?. also since the car is 1975 does it need a cat converter ...
