PHOTOS of "Phil Ward" body kit for City Pro

I am chasing photos of the 'Phil Ward' body kit for the City Pro.
They were fitted to the City Pro when they were new in the early-mid eighties. There was a front bumber/spoiler, side skirts, and a high mounted roof spoiler.

Suspension

Any good suspension place should be able to help you out. I have both Koni and Bilsteins. Try Quadrant, or Fulcrum. The head office of Pedders in Melbourne could possiibly help you with some of their custom setups. Or Leda Suspension in Brisbane (Bruce Dazel). I recommend Bilsteins. Make sure you ge...

Equal length driveshafts

Hello All

Has anyone fitted equal length drive shafts to a City T1 or T2 ?

I think one of the NZ guys (was it Turbo3 ?) did this a while ago, but I've lost the photos.

Can anyone send me photos or details please.

Thanks

Mark

CP pistons in Brisbane

Thanks for the post.

CP Pistons in Brisbane can do them via the States, but they are expensive and it'll take 6 weeks. Specialised pistons in Melbourne are even more expensive and it'd take months.

Please email me the link for your contact in the states.

Thanks

The T2 diff has a final ratio of 4.06. The GB 4 speed has a diff ratio of 4.93. This is much better for acceleration.

By fitting an aftermarket computer you get rid of the boost and rev limiter, and can map the fuel and ignition to anything you like.

I suggest the following as a minimum : 1. Get rid of the CVCC head and fit an NA 8 valve head 2. Modify 8 valve head to take Turbo inlet manifold and fit bigger valves and injectors 3. Fit +1mm forged pistons 4. Knife edge the crank 5. Shootpeened or forged rods 6. 4 speed GB gearbox (4.91 diff rati...
