Yep, that is me Glen = ProT.

But to make it more confusing I sold the ProT a couple of years ago and I now have a Blue T1.

Is it possible to change my user id but keep my profile and history?

Thanks for the offer of the chain block and for the suggestions of how I may get by with out and engine crane. Good news is I just picked up an engine crane for less than it would have cost me to hire a crane the 2 times it would have been needed. With the usual story of...it's only been used twice....

T1 Front Bumper and Bonnet Wanted

I'm in Sydney and I don't mind too much what condition they are in.

Or if somone in NZ has one available the power bulge from a T1. If the price and postage are reasonable.

Please let me know if you can help.

---- Remove front end, jack engine up on trolly jack, using ropes and bars take it out the front ----

Not knowing what the bottom end and gearbox weight, could 1 person manage this or would it be better with 2 people?

Engine Removal - without crane?

Can anyone advise me if they have removed a City Block and gearbox (head already removed) by jacking up the front of the car and lowering the engine and gearbox down and out with a trolly jack? Is this even possible? Yes, I am aware of the possible dangers of balancing an engine on a trolly jack. Or...

I don't believe they deliver to Australia, butI have found this site handy in tracking down manufactures of different tyre sizes.

Usually gives you something to search with on the local tyre manufactures website.

Bigelboe, Any chance you have photos of the item(s) and how you modded them to fit? So it's Mk 1 Golf on all 4 corners? New shock inserts inside them with the outercase of the Golf struts machined down to fit the City wheel/hub bits and custom springs? Is that correct? I have a T1, you have a Civic,...

Hey, did anyone ever manage to adapt the VW Rabbit struts to suit a Honda City?

Do a search for RABBIT and you will find the 2 threads.

Well if Pedders can come up with a suitable replacement shock at a realistic price, I think they may have quite a few people interested.

Could one of these diffs also be adapted to fit in a T1 ?

If so I would be interested in a couple of weeks time.
