Re: T2 Project Update - HELP!
Try changing cyl 2 spark plug with another one and see if its happening to the other clyinder. Maybe change the lead over after that. Check the Dizzy cap. check the computer for a fault code.
Hope this helps!

Re: LPG TURBO CIVIC
I got a friend with a BMW 318i. The car has a standard 2litre with a decompression plate to lower the compression. T3/T4 turbo, Saab front mount, custom plenum, big injectors, Deltagate external wastegate etc. He wound the boost up to 32psi on a dyno and it made 600hp :o. Soon after it melted a ...

Re: LPG TURBO CIVIC
I was going for 160-180hp. I think that is enough horsepower for a decent adrenelin rush. With the suburu water/ait intercooler and about 18-20psi. With all this work I think its enough work to make that sort of power (maybe more than enough!).
And with a set of forged pistons 25psi :o

Re: Renault City Turbo!?
Thats because people thrash turbo cars. If you warm your motor up and let them cool down you shouldnt have a problem. But you never know what the previous owner was like. [quote author=city_cabriolet link=board=GEN;num=1090204541;start=15#26 date=07/21/04 at 21:42:30]All my friend said "Don't...

Re: LPG TURBO CIVIC
In theory the car has much better fuel economy and has the potential to make alot more power. The whole gas system also only cost me $1200. And no need to spend money on bigger injectors, fuel pumps etc. because the system is good for 300hp. And also we can't all be the same! [quote author=K1W1 li...

Re: LPG TURBO CIVIC
Yeh that's what has happened to everyone else. Over a two year period I tried to get into contact with many people who have developed good injection systems but never made it commercial. The reason's were all to do with funding and making it economically viable. There is one company in England th...

Re: Renault City Turbo!?
The honda City/gen1 civic was based on a renault 5 believe it or not. :) just like the Datsun 1600 was based on a BMW 2002. the normal r5 was a FWD front engine just like the city. They also came out with a turbo version (R5 GT turbo). This car is a big hit in england. It's also the car in the ...

Re: LPG TURBO CIVIC
To understand the concept of this car the first thing you got to do is forget everything that know nothing people have told you about lpg because there all wrong! LPG is a better fuel than petrol. I'm waiting for someone to develope a good lpg injection system than I'm going to convert my current c...

Re: Renault City Turbo!?
Man that is a copy of a renault 5 turbo 2. It was a group B rally car. the road going version had 150hp and the race car came out with more than 260hp. It has a rear mounted 1.5 litre turbo engine and was rear wheel drive. There's a guy in queensland that has one. My good friend Damian Both (vi...
