On a similar subject...my tacho cable is only 1/2!! As in only the cable from the dash is there and finishes at an empty casing i'm reckoning about 1/2 way from where it has to go couple of ??? 1....what goes in that casing? 2....where does it attach to the engine? Grateful for any help..I thought i...

If you feel around where the cable goes in you will feel a raised tube from out of the diff, if you feel that tube about halfway down it has a hole which the clip goes into. Put your cable in as far as it will go, put the clip on, pull the cable up gently until you feel the clip take on the cable. ...

Thanks guys, living in Tassie it rains quite a bit so this is a problem I need to fix, likewise I was quoted "over $2000". Yes the seals do seem to be shagged..will look in infobase but if youve any ideas on replacement maybe this will fix the problem. Will have to keep using gaffa tape ...

Did you know... For the Cabriolet owners, Pininfarina(a badge on my lid which confused me) was the designer of softtops for Ferrari... 8) Woulda been kinda nice if he designed one which doesn't LEAK!! :P Anyone with ideas on replacing these, where from how much etc... Have now posted pics in the gal...

wouldja get more of a discount if you got 2......? :) my top has shrunk really badly and drips on my leg when i'm driving, kinda like chinese water torture...not to mention the rotting seats and carpet..have gone to a couple of trimmers down in Tas.."gotta get em from the US, no point makin it ...
