Re: gassed

I would suggest a flixible silicon based sealant as a temporary fix but taking to a professional may prove fruitfull as they may be able to fix it without replacing the whole soft top.

Re: good for 5's (minutes)

The jump starting problem is most likely the starter motor or solenoid,  The problem with cutting out after five minutes may be atributed to the common 'main relay dry joint' problem.  Could be that heat induced into the circuit in your main relay is causing it to fail after a limited time. We've se...

Re: good for 5's (minutes)

In theory if the alternator was dead then you could read the voltage across the battery as very low when the car dies after 5 minutes.

The car should get it's power from the battery by default if the alternator is not supplying charge.

Re: Size does matter

I had the same problem with my 15's.  Power-file fixed that but i went to the tyre shop and got the tyre profile changed the next day.  In theory if you've got the right profile tyres on you shouldn't get any scraping.

Seems very rough for that price.  I would offer no more than $900 for that.

Unscheduled outage

We had an unscheduled outage of the webserver at aproximately 17:15 NZ local time. This lasted around 10 minutes and was due to a circuit breaker blowing in the server room while a new UPS / Generator system was being installed.  All servers will changed over to the new power system within a week at...
