Re: temp gauge high
If you got air in your radiator it will run hotter. I think you just got to bleed the air out.
Re: Fuel
When I got my civic head ported the guy said that the valve guides where good for unleaded petrol. But its a good idea to run LRP once in a while for some lubrication. Try using unleaded and use LRP once a month to be on the safe side. (thats if its a civic motor)

Re: any common things related to hunting...
I gave up on my rev hunting problem. But one day I decided to change the ignition lead that runs from the coil to the dizzy cap from an 8 to 10mm and guess what? IT DOSN'T HUNT ANYMORE . Don't ask me why but it worked so give it a go!
Re: CNG City
If I can remember you need about 30% more LPG than petrol. This means petrol has 30% more energy/BTU's. (CNG has similar BTU's to LPG). Than again Diesel has alot more energy than petrol but alot lower octane. I think that more octane = less energy in all the fuels that I've heard of. But inject...

Re: CNG City
Well done man. My car was the LPG turbo civic. CNG is an exellent fuel. Alot higher octane than LPG (I've heard) but there's only one servo that I know of that sells it in Brisbane and that's 15km away. If you want some extra horses get your dizzy regraphed. It will cost about $150 and will mak...

I gave you a number to a break mechanic. I have no idea why you didn't call him but he's the head mechanic for Mack/Volvo trucks so he dosn't do small jobs anymore.

Re: Overboosting BAD! Arrg....
Try checking the throttle position sensor. It might be out. The previous owner of my car had the same problem and said that's what it was. Dosn't make too much sense to me but it's worth a try.

Re: Cold start probs
Dose the Microtech run the cvcc injector? If so dose the computor run it 'group fire' (fires all injectors at once) or sequential (fires injectors individually). And dose anyone know how many times the cvcc injector fires per rpm or if it just stays open :-/. (hope it makes sense). I would really ...
Re: rims
If your after tyres for 14inch rims try to get a set of 195/45 14's. They have the same diameter as your 12's. They cost me $110 each(that could have been mates rates) but its worth it. I don't know if there available in Australia because there a German tyre. Brand name is Fulda! If you want to...

Re: Large Turbo or Small Turbo?
A friend of mine has a 94 laser with a familia GTR motor already fitted from another friend. On that motor was a cheap small aftermarket blow off valve. He had it tensioned up as far as it could go. the theory behind the tension was that it wouldn't release all the pressure too quickly which wou...
Re: Nightmare
My code was Map sensor disconected! I think it was due to a faulty wire which I replaced but if it could mean anything else I would really like to know just incase it comes back.
