Re: LPG TURBO CIVIC
That white tube stuff is all PVC piping. It is cheap (cost me about $10 and half an hour) and it held 15psi no problems. Although this was only ment to be on there until I fitted the intercooler. It runs from the turbo straight into the GasReaserch throttle body/mixer (carby). The piece coming ...

Re: LPG TURBO CIVIC
The things you do when your bored! I recently pulled the lpg stuff off and sold it to a mate whose making a lpg turbo Renault Fuego! the car ran very well. Much smoother and faster than the t2 civic I got now. It ran 15psi without any issues and no intercooler. I was going to put a liberty water...

Re: N/A City twin carb setup ?
I also like tony's idea. I've seen a setup like that on a 'GEMINI' (shitbox) and it sounds awsome. Nothing sounds better than quad throttles!

Re: N/A City twin carb setup ?
Sounds like a mad project. If your going to use twin carbys I wouldn't go for webbers or similar, there too big (really small valves). Maybe try the ones on the other Honda's. How about buying another manifold porting it and making an adaptor for a single 32/36 webber. I've seen it on a civic wi...

Re: Large Turbo or Small Turbo?
Yeh I know now I got ripped off but I learnt a valuable lesson along the way. DON'T GO TO TURBO TURQUE. They have retards working for them. the guy fitted the actuator rod on the wrong side of the wastegate lever. I wasn't going to mention that but all this talk brought back the memories. If yo...

Re: Large Turbo or Small Turbo?
I have to admit it was more than I thought it was going to be. What did they do to the exhaust housing of yours? They also fitted a new actuator which needed some custom work. The compressor housing had to machined out to fit the new wheel. I think that was most of the money. i had an issue wit...

Re: idle hunt when warm
It is a HKS FCD and its sitting on top of the computer. The problem is I didn't do the work so I don't know what wire is which. What is that adjustment screw on top of the FCD? I'm not familiar with ecu's etc. and without the wiring info I'm stuck. I prefer to do all the work myself (lost faith i...

Re: Large Turbo or Small Turbo?
For my T2 gen1civic I got a T1 Turbo highflowed. That means that they put the largest possible compressor wheel in the housing. Although i I haven't fitted it yet I'm sure its the best turbo for a street car. In theary it should spool up faster (it's already fast enough) and should take less turb...

Hi fellas, I got a gen1 civic with a turbo 2 engine. the car runs fine except when I get stuck in traffic the idle hunt begins. I've tried alot of things after reading the info base and nothing has worked yet. The computer displays the fault code for "map sensore disconnected! (maybe this...
