Re: Car Feels Powerless
I would suggest going down to your local guage shop and picking up an Autometer air/fuel ratio guage. Hook it up and watch it while your driving, especially when your having problems. I've got one on my T2 and it's great. In general the guage should be reading "full ritch" whenon boost. an...

Re: Cityturbo.com New Zealand Windscreen Stickers
It's a .eps file format which is a scalable vector graphic. You give files like these to your sign writers and they smile and give you a discount because they don't have to farked around with the importing the graphic and converting it to a format that they can use.

Re: Cityturbo.com New Zealand Windscreen Stickers
OK Here's an update. Talked to the sign writer this morning and here's the story. He would charge about $40 for a computer cut version of this. He said that the only way to reduce costs is to get the thing screen printed but we would need > 20 people to make this more cost effective than the compu...

Re: probelms --- need HELPS
If it's reving up and down alot when you don't have yer foot on the loud pedal (at idle) it's most likely to be the vacuum advance canister, located in the distributor with two rubber hoses going into it. You can test this by unhooking both hoses at the disy end and bunging them up (screws are good...

Re: Interchangeablity of T1 and T2 Components
The T2 gearbox internals give the car longer legs in lower gear.
T1 1300cc gearbox.
T2 1500cc gearbox.

Re: Cityturbo.com New Zealand Windscreen Stickers
Still looking into it. The sign writer didn't have time to look at it too much on Friday but seemed to think that it wouldn't be too much trouble. I would make the observation that you can apply a tint strip to the inside of the windscreen and the sticker to the outside. Thus if / when you get sic...

Re: How do you get a CVCC valve out?
Well presumably you've taken the locking colar off the valve already. You just need to pull really hard, there's a seal at the bottom of the valve which jams it in there.
The colar comes off with a spark plug socket.

Re: T1 and T2 Computers the same?
I know that the steering rack ends are different lengths, Therefor it's reasonable to assume that the lower control arms are different lengths, bottom sway bar, CV's / axels... Correct me if i'm wrong anyone... I do believe that alot of the engine parts are interchangeable including the head gasket.

It might be a shorter list to list what is not interchangeable between them. I know that the distributors are...
Just out of interest also i'm pretty sure that none of the suspention and steering is interchangable as i tried a rack end out of a T1 and it was about 1 inch shorter. Figures though.

Hey all... I found a Honda Accord sitting in a car park with all it's windows smashed in and other various damage, it had an EL engine (in pretty bad condition by the looks of things), do these have CVCC in them? are they 1.6 or 1.8's? Seems to be the way of things around here. We wait till someon...

Can't say i've had a problem with that... however i'm connected directly to the DNS host for cityturbo.com. It could be invalid DNS caching with your ISP... best way to test it is: If you're running windows xp / 2000 bring up a command prompt type there: nslookup http://www.cityturbo.com If it re...
