ball joint
Sorry for the delay Col. Checked the left front which has a bit of a wobble when I grab the top and bottom of the wheel and shake it. Right side seems firm, but the left has a little bit of play. What joint would it be that is giving the play?

ball joint
In that case Col, it would be the lower ball joint. The bearings would rumble.
