Hey fellas,
You can get a Valve Regrind Set w/ head gasket incl. from an Aussie company called "Gas miser".

The part number is DN240.
I cant recall the actual amount i bought it for but it wasnt too much.

I got the set thru. Spark Bros in Fairfield who are a part of Rare Spares.

Cheers

Michael

Hey sleepy are you sure that was for the city turbo? because if it was for the NA model and the cvcc seals have poped off that may cause you to get your oily plugs.

Hey Michael,
Havent recoditioned the engine/head yet but thank god i didnt use the Gasmiser VRK DNS 240.

Yup, you guessed right after trying to fit on the rocker cover gasket and finding out it doesnt fit.

Does anyone know if Honda Japan still have any parts/spares for sale for the turbo citys?

Frogger

Just read the whole thread from one end to the other. If you look above, you'll see the guys in NZ say you can get a complete set. Doggystyle said:

"partmaster in chch 160 for a full head set i think they have separate seals too "

Why not give them a phone call? Just make sure you are clear that it is a Turbo you need them for.

You will do a lot better if you give them the part numbers. I bought CVCC seals from Westmore car centre in Brisbane. Part No 12209PA5004   There has been a lot of talk about them blowing off on boost, this would surely have to mean that your valve guides are stuffed and you have cylinder pressure coming up between the guide and valve stem. i cant see why you guys have so much trouble getting cvcc stem seals i dont get it i had mine the day i ordered them. plus tis not only the turbo that has cvcc maybe the accord and the prelude have them the same size why would they make them bigger.. theres a shit load of options. if your in oz maybe one of the boys back home can give the 'hard of parts' people some numbers ie partmaster, strong bros honda, butlers, supa cheap etc etc.. its all there waiting for you to use it, but remember you want GENUINE HONDA PARTS (or renowned parts)except for head gaskets
