Green Civic
Hi Charles
The Green Civic is currently housed at Chris's father in law's farm - in a shed, along with the vine nets. If you could send me an email or use the message facility here I can give you Chris's email at mac.com so you can talk direct to him.
I am not sure that he wants to sell right now - before he was raising money for a vintage visit to Burgundy (he is a winemaker now) but he is now nicely established in a darn good job, company car etc and all that, and cash is less hard to find. Like yourself, there is a lot of his soul in the car - the re-build was a huge effort and expense!
However, worth your having a chat to him.
One of the two gearboxes is in my shed, the rest of the bits are at the farm ....
I also have a pic of my mate Phil driving it upo the old Mt Barker road on Flickr - see http://www.flickr.com/photos/johntsa/sh ... 213578927/ or thereabouts.
The beast developped a fault a year or two ago - I think the master relay has shat itself again, and neither Chris nor I have had the time to sort it out, so it is currently deaf, dumb and non functional. But I am sure it is something trivial, just needs some diagnosis and we have never had the day needed to sort it - so trailered it to the farm.

Hey John,
That would be great. The main relays often crap out on the older hondas due to dry joints. Just pop it open and resolder the joints and then she should be good to go again.
Good to hear it hasn't gotten into the hands of somebody who played with it for a bit then gave up. I am sure Chris could really sort it out now.
