Time to part with my T1. I took it off the road for a respray many years ago and it's mostly just sat there since. It had just been fitted with a low KM import T2 engine, ran well, but of course has been sitting for many years now. The original engine ran OK but I wanted to freshen it up (I think around 160K on it). Both engines are included and run off the T1 computer.

The car is 99% complete, needs a windscreen, misc mechanical repairs (brakes, ball joints). There's rust in the usual places, the hatch is in pretty ordinary shape. Strut towers and firewall have rust.

The T2 engine cost me $800 (plus ~$1200 fitting!) so I'd like to get $800 back for the whole lot will not separate at this point. May trade for car parts (R32 Skyline, Wrangler, Fiat 500, Swift GTi), or WHY.

$400? I hope someone can still get some use out of it.

Well one is on gumtree now with an aftermarket dump pipe, Audi turbo and a few other bobs for $500

How's $300 sound? It's a 'low km' import engine that I only put a handful of k's on.
