I have just had my T1 brought back home after a (so called) mechanic installed a reconned motor into my T1.

I would really like to find a turbo fiend who can have a look at my car to tell me if everything is working so i can put it back on the road.

The motor goes, pops a bit of smoke, but the turbo dont appear to be working.

Will pay for your time if you can help

Where you located? Can you get the turbo out? I'd check for wastegate being siezed open

The Turbo on my first T2 still didn't work after a visit to a mechanics, turned out that one of the Vaccum rubber pipes wasn't plugged in.

I also have problem with my recent bought t1 it give off burning smell. Anyone mind giving me a hand?
