Can someone tell me the name of the manufacturer who makes Jazz/City's rear shock absorbers.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I replaced one with a genuine Honda spare part and and can't answer your specific question, but I also thought it might help if we actually gave this thread a relevant title.

It is a fairly generic type of part but as the build date was almost 20 years ago, don't be surprised if the're no alternate suppliers.

good luck

nope, look for a thread I started about Koni shocks and bits..

Basics are, if you find some new shocks BUY THEM while you can...

Otherwise find some oldies that might work, or get custom ones made.

I was actually just going to suggest the possibility if getting motorcycle shocks to fit.. some of those cruisers, have shocks that would be similar in size..  Harley Davidson style, yamaha Virago, vMax, honda shadow etc.. and these bikes are a couplahundred kilo's so they would almost handle the low weight of the city...
