EGR valve in T2
EGR valve in T2
Who's T2 has a EGR valve and why the heck does mine have one. I thought it was only on T1s, but please feel free to correct me. Unless I have a T1 engine in my T2, that would suck the big one. Probably explains why I couldn't even beat a non turbo r33 ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Yep, took out the gearbox to change clutch from my old t2 and flywheels are totally different
this pressure plate was a bit smaller and didn't line up with the t2 clutch. And the turbo looks a lot smaller too, will see when I get it out and compare the two.
Don't know what other differences there between t1 and t2 engine wise just that it has slightly less compression and maybe smaller valves? Cos it really struggles to the redline than my old t2 did.

Yeah 3gcvc, I thunk it is def a T1 engine. I put the T2 turbo from the engine that didn't sell for 50 bucks on last night and my old split dump pipe from Boostboy, and it dosen't feel any better. Feels like it has less pull now, disappointed really. And I'm not really fond of the screamer pipe any more. Probably cos I have 2 kids now and married? Might rig up a join down the system, probably contributes to the loss in torque too?? Might try my old t2 ecu as well, dunno... might do something
Cool bro, i'll check over those things as soon as I get a FMIC as I'm sure the stock cooler is suffering heat soak after a few power-pulls and overheating intake temps.
Anyone know an easier way of taking off the cam pulley cover with the A/C still in? Been a long time I have worked on these things. I know the T1 can go hard (looking at 1/4 mile table) and I lost to a VL of some sort too, I'm just not doing the City Turbo justice![Embarassed ](./images/smilies/icon_redface.gif)
