Ultimate City Turbo

Postby Smeagol » Mon Feb 21, 2005 10:13 pm

Ok. I orignaly had a Legendary Honda City Turbo II but unfortunately that was stolen and rolled. So I retrieved it only to find that the engine was in perfect condition! So I needed a new body, and it just so happened that one of my work mates had a City Turbo I and we blew the turbo on it. So out goes $300 from my bank account and a new City Turbo I body into my garage. Ripped it out, Shoved the Turbo II engine in and away she roared. Here are my specs right now but ones is brackets are future planned mods:

TurboSmart Type I BOV
Custom Front Mounter Intercooler (Bumper been cut, just waiting on intercooler to arrive)
Original Turbo - Boosting on 16psi
MSD Blaster 2 Ignition Coil
Wildcat Pod
Boost Controller (Unknown Make!)
4 Puck Brass Button Clutch
(Walbro 500Hp 255l/ph Fuel Pump)
(OBX Fuel Regulator)
(WRX 550cc Injectors)
(Lightened Flywheel)
(Aftermarket Fuel Rail)

She is quite a grunter but I have tested her on the street really. I don't have the chance with work and all and plus the speed cable got ripped out by accident when swapping engines (whoops!) so I can't really tell how fast I am going.

Have you got the name of the wreckers? I would really like to track it down.

I'll have to look it up in the phone book sorry. I haven't done my exhaust yet, which I must get round to doing very soon! I think 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 will do nicely.

EDIT: I found who took it. All Car Auto Dismantlers.

Hiya,
Sounds like you're in Chch then! Cool!  ;D So is the clutch fitted? Any details on make model etc? Looked around for ages to sort one for mine but ended up with getting a kevlar plate bonded to original. I'm using Lancer GSR injectors (350cc) and don't think you'll be able to force enough fuel in to warrant 550cc items. I'd be keen to catch up sometime though!

Yeah man, I'm keen to meet sometime. Today (Wednesday) after 5 would be great. Check your PM's for my cell number and you can give me a txt. Yeah, I got my clutch fitted lol. I would blow it quite soon if I didn't have it fitted lol. Maybe a Walbro or Bosch Fuel Pump would feed the hungry injectors...

Hungry injectors arent much help when there is only a limited space in the engine to put petrol into! Are there any other 'bolt in' injectors like the Prelude ones? I once found a set of a random Holden V6 which looked identical, but it was a bare head so i have no idea what model or anything. Dont even know what i did with the injectors ::)

How good would Holden V6 injectors be in a T2?
